Our Custom Thermoplastic Splints
Our custom thermoplastic orthoses are lightweight and water-resistant and are moulded for each patient to suit their individual needs. Allowing the patient to move freely, enjoy enhanced support for better healing, and experience greater functionality. Our thermoplastic splints allow patients to carry on with their daily activities, including showering, swimming, sports or holding a pen, all without the worry of keeping the splint dry.

Hand Physio and Surgery Service
Our hand physio and surgery service provide expert advice, management and care for all hand and upper limb conditions. We are the only combined hand therapy and hand surgery service in the Inner West of Sydney, located at Balmain Sports Medicine.
Our inner west hand team compromises of an orthopaedic trained hand surgeon, hand physiotherapist, and occupational therapist. Hand physiotherapy has a crucial role in the recovery from injury of the hand or wrist, and in the recovery from hand surgical operations. Hand physiotherapy is integrated into the hand surgery team at Balmain Sports Medicine.
