About Timothy
Dr Timothy Yeoh is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in surgery of the shoulder and knee. He is known for his professional manner and is committed to providing the best possible care for his patients. Born in Sydney, he attended Sydney Grammar School and then studied medicine at the University of New South Wales, where he graduated with honours.
Dr Yeoh firmly believes that surgery needs to be performed in association with other treatments. He works closely with a range of medical and allied health professionals including Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Sports Physicians, Pain Specialists and Radiologists to create individualised treatment plans for each patient.
After completing the Orthopaedic Training Scheme and obtaining his fellowship of both the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Australian Orthopaedic Association, he underwent 2 more years of subspecialty training in Sydney, Canberra and Toronto Canada, where he treated elite shoulder and knee sporting injuries, and trained in complex joint replacement.
Dr Yeoh is committed to education, training and research. He teaches orthopaedic trainees and examines for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He has a passion for research, which allows him to utilise the most up to date knowledge, and most accurate surgical techniques to benefit his patients. He also regularly presents and attends national and international conferences.
