About Owen

Hailing from Dharug land in Western Sydney/Blue Mountains, I grew up playing as much sport as I could, excelling particularly in Soccer, middle distance and high jump. Today I am a multidisciplinary movement specialist who has spent over 5 years studying how the body moves, performs, communicates and heals.

I like to provide a holistic experience which is informative and centring as well as releasing tension, relieving pain and reducing stress. As a result I use a mixture of sports, deep tissue, myofascial and meditative/breath work in my treatments.

Prior to receiving my diploma remedial massage, I spent 2 years in Paris at the Jacques Lecoq international school of theatre; a program which is devoted to understanding movement within a theatrical context.

I have a specific interest in acrobatics, dance, Tai Chi and Yoga which all inform my approach to physicality.

I also have a passion for sports medicine, specifically how therapies like massage, cryotherapy and meditation can complement an athletes training, recovery and rehabilitation from injury.

When I’m not at work I enjoy cycling and running on and off road, Cross Fit and bouldering.
