About Michele
Michele has over 18 years of experience specialising in Hand Therapy. After graduating as a Physiotherapist at the University of Sydney, Michele began specialising in Hand Therapy in 2002 at Royal North Shore Hospital, the most prestigious Hand Unit in Sydney. Michele has worked as the Senior Hand Therapist at a number of Public and Private Hand therapy practices in NSW and the UK including Royal North Shore Hospital, Chelsea Westminster Hospital in London, St George Hospital Sydney and Macquarie Hand Unit.
Continuing education and teaching are of great importance to Michele, who is responsible for organising the Hand Therapy interest group meetings for the NSW division of the Australian Hand Therapy Association. Michele also regularly teaches and consults as a Consultant Hand Therapist in Dubbo and surrounds.
Michele specialises in complex soft tissue injuries of the hand and is currently working on research with 3D printing in Hand Therapy. In her spare time Michele can often be found on her stand-up paddle board/skiing or helping out at her preferred charity Dalwood Spilstead Service.
